Single Pea

We have a warm sunny side of our yard were we grow peas, carrots, potatoes, figs, strawberry ext...
But I had peas in my garden this summer well... I still do. I had around 12 dried peas left on the vine and without thinking I planted all of them and to my surprise they grew, all 11 of them!(I gave one to my little sister ). I told Mom.They are still growing.


But the weather was so cold they all got frozen, but once again I got one of these little peas to grow. It is still growing all I do is watch. It seems to do everything by itself.Even though it is only about 1 1/2 feet I still like to look at it. It has not gotten any peas and probably wont get any, but I have a good feeling 1 little pea will make it through the icy winters.

Humming Along

Lately we had a hummingbird in our yard we pretty much see her every day. She lives in our yard because we have an UN frozen feeder for it. I took the pictures of her. See below.

Too many peas to pick

How do I pick all the peas? In one day I picked 36 peas with some help from my friend , so how do I? If you have any good IDEAS please tell me. 

I entered these in the Down on the Allotment blog's veggie show.

I also have lots of rooted veggies to carrots , onions and potatoes.

Buzzing Bees

I was out in my garden and I saw a lot of bees see: 

I put a video of some plants in our yard the bees like and they stay by all day  long. They fly all over the garden they fly so fast I could not get any good pictures of them. I have a flower called monkey flower it looks so cool mine is red and yellow, and it is huge it is 1 year old and is so big. The video has some bees in the penstemon flower by our house.

See for me I love Anna's humming bird . I get gold finches , chestnut chickadee ,black capped chickadee, American  Robin ,Humming birds ,Crows,Even an occasional hawk or two. We don't get a lot of animals in our garden we only get Birds, raccoons and squirrels . So I like birds the best.We see deer but not in our garden or any where close . We were at school and we had a " cougar"But I  doubt it really was one even when we were in lock down  how could a cougar get from where ever  it came from to here !!! Well I don't know Maybe he rode a bus :)  =) it rode  a bus .hahahahahahahaha!

Seeds  

A sign of new growth .A great display . When I see a seed I feel  like a 5 year old kid looking at a candy filled room . My eyes grow 3 inches and my heart starts to pump . Will it grow ??? I think.

 My seed is a tree .As a kid age of 10 I plant my seed and when I am 30 I look at my tree but all that I see is my little seed .

First Garden

A  while ago I wanted a garden . So I  got a bunch of old bricks behind are shed and made an outline  it was really hard lifting  40 bricks then tossing them 4 feet away . Soon after I got a good feel  for gardening  now I love to !! After my mom made a gardening blog called A Gardener in progress i wanted one my self . I 'm hoping it will be as good as my mom 's.  A few days ago i saw 2 Humming  birds .On the bike trail today I saw 2 blue herons and 2 ducks but when we saw the duck land in the water they glided 3 or 4 feet. I don't now what kind they are . I saw the biggest blue heron in a dead tree It was bigger than a normal size . Me and my friend saw it up close too.
