It has been sunny here but still cold or at least the last few days. Today it was rain hailing or something like that. I call it snailing. Hail and rain mix or snow and rain mix or hail and snow mix. It does not make that much sense but it sounds funny. Off topic I got on the JV b-ball team at school! Cool!
Sweetpea was here!!!!!!!!!
Hello Sweetpea!
ReplyDeleteIt was lovely seeing you'd popped by and left a message - thank you!
Wow! Congratulations on your selection to your school's basketball team! Bet you're super thrilled!
I don't know very much about basketball at all, as we don't go in for it much in South Africa, but we do, of course, see all the excitement the game generates on the many movies in which it features. It does seem to be a really fun sport and, from what I can tell, most American children seem to grow up with a basketball net in their yards.
I'm looking forward to hearing how you get on with playing matches this year. I guess it will keep you quite busy, with lots of practising!
SNAILING! Now that's a new word...bet if you use it often enough, everyone will adopt it and you'll be able to say it was your own invention!
Hugs,
Des xo
Congrats Sweetpea!!! As long as real snails don't fall from the sky we will be okay, lol.
ReplyDeleteI have just popped on over to say WELL DONE! on winning your basketball match on Saturday. Your Mum mentioned it on her blog and said it was a very exciting and tense game.
ReplyDeleteI love your fairydoor and I'm looking forward to seeing your fairy-sized Japanese Maple when you get a chance to post about it.
I'm also wondering if the Littlest Gardener's fern spores have shown any signs of having taken, yet?
